About the vineyard[+]
The Grenache grapes used to produce La Montesa are cultivated using organic agriculture methods in the family vineyard which lends its name to the wine, located in the rough surroundings of the foothills of Mount Yerga. Vines grow in chalky and iron-clay conglomerate soils in dry and windy conditions, with the benefits of cooler air thanks to the altitude of the vineyards. All in all, perfect conditions to extract the smooth and dynamic profile of Grenache and remind us of past times.
