Tinto Pesquera Crianza · 2022
Every bottle of Tinto Pesquera Crianza contains a piece of the history of Ribera del Duero. Back in 1975, when Alejandro Fernández and Esperanza Rivera started to produce it, they put Ribera del Duero on the world winemaking map years before the region was classified as an official appellation. An open wine, brimming with fruit, approachable right from the start but also capable of ageing most elegantly. Good fruit, delicate oak, elegant tannins and character throughout. An essential red for understanding the Ribera del Duero DO.

About the vineyard[+]
The grapes come from the firm's own vineyards located at an altitude of 800 metres in the town of Roa. They cultivate over 200 hectares of vines, all over 25 years old, planted in sandy loam soils. The vineyards enjoy a dry and windy Atlantic continental climate with long, cold winters and short, but dry and extremely hot, summers.
