Celler del Roure

Maduresa · 2023

4/5

Maduresa was the first wine produced by Celler del Roure, one of the most interesting wineries in Valencia. A red wine created from a seductive blend of local varieties, among which Mandó stands out – an almost extinct variety which Pablo Calatayud took an interest in when there were only a few remaining vines and, thanks to his hard work and commitment, is now on the road to recovery. Maduresa expresses all the potential of the variety with an honest interpretation of the sunny landscapes of the southern Mediterranean region. Appreciated as a great, complex and deep wine brimming with essence, Maduresa has also evolved over recent years to become a fresher, smoother and elegant wine which is sure to delight. In a nutshell, this top-quality red wine is a reference among Valencian wines with the added intrigue of trying the unknown Mandó grape. A must-try wine from a winery well worth keeping an eye on.
