About the vineyard[+]
The wines of the Aloxe-Corton AOC come from one of the most prestigious areas in the Burgundy region of France. Known mainly for its exceptional red wines made from Pinot Noir, this appellation also produces a small amount of Chardonnay white wines. Aloxe-Corton reds are characterised by their intensity, structure and ageing ability. They offer notes of red and black fruits, such as cherry and blackcurrant, along with earthy, spicy and truffle nuances that develop with time in bottle. The white wines are elegant and mineral, with aromas of stone fruits and white flowers. Aloxe-Corton AOC is synonymous with wines of great complexity and refinement, ideal for Burgundy lovers looking for depth and longevity in every glass.
