About the vineyard[+]
Gigondas AOC wines are among the most charismatic reds of the Southern Rhône, made from Grenache, Syrah, and Mourvèdre grapes. This region, located near the famous Dentelles de Montmirail mountain range, gives the wines an intense aroma and structure. In the glass, Gigondas reveals notes of ripe cherries, plums, blackberries, and Provençal herbs, complemented by hints of spice and subtle minerality. The palate is powerful yet harmonious, with firm but elegant tannins and a long finish. This is an excellent choice for those who enjoy rich, characterful wines that pair perfectly with red meat, stews, or aged cheeses. Gigondas is often called the "little Châteauneuf-du-Pape," but its uniqueness has earned it a special place in the glass of every wine lover.
